1.
I know that my Redeemer lives; What comfort this sweet sentence gives! He lives, He lives, who once was dead; He lives, my ever-living Head. He lives to silence all my fears, He lives to wipe away my tears He lives to calm my troubled heart, He lives all blessings to impart. He lives, all glory to His Name! He lives, my Jesus, still the same. Oh, what sweet joy this sentence gives, My Redeemer lives! He lives to bless me with His love, He lives to plead for me above. He lives my hungry soul to feed,He lives to help in time of need. He lives and grants me daily breath; He lives, and I shall conquer death: He lives my mansion to prepare; He lives to bring me safely there. He lives triumphant from the grave; He lives eternally to save He lives all glorious in the sky; He lives exalted there on high

God so loved the world that He gave His only Son So the poorest sinner might own the richest hope The Life and Light of men yet He came not to condemn But to save all those who look to him alone Oh, behold! CHORUS: Behold, my soul, behold The Lamb of God, Your Living Hope His blood has healed and made you whole My soul, behold Arise, my soul, arise Shake the slumber from your eyes Oh wake and worship Christ your Life My soul, arise Darkness, I once loved and in blindness, I once walked But the Sun has ris'n and burned away the night So shine into my heart, every hidden sin expose I become like You as I walk in the Light And behold Behold the Lamb of God who takes away your sin Who takes away your sin

Gratitude 04:33
For Creation's endless bounty it's wonders beyond counting For blessing upon blessing We thank You. For the peace of Your provision Each season's changing rhythm These gifts that we've been given We thank You, Lord. CHORUS: For Your sweet, sweet mercies That pour down from above For the deep, deep waters of Your love And every morning Your graces are renewed You have filled us You have filled our hearts With gratitude For Your armor in the good fight Endurance through the dark night The sure approach of dawn's light We thank You For revealing lasting riches The fresh air of forgiveness Your Spirit here to fill us We thank You, Lord Though surrounded by these blessings Yet still our hearts are longing For Him of whom our hearts sing Our Savior He is Jesus Christ, our Ransom Forsaken for our freedom He's given us his kingdom We praise You, Lord!
4.
When troubles come, when darkness crowds, When fortunes fail, and loss surrounds, My soul is weak, but Christ is strong, And so to Him I leave it all. For He who holds all things Can bear each care I bring. CHORUS: So I lay it all on Jesus Steadfast is the love of Jesus He hears my cry, He's faithful I lay it all on Jesus. When questions rise, when faith wears thin, When fears come fast, and truth grows dim The One who saved, will not forsake; I'll trust His Word and trust His way. For He who bore my blame Can bear each care I name BRIDGE: I am weak, You are strong Jesus come and take it all All my cares I cast on You I lay it all, I lay it all on Jesus
5.
Like One from whom Men hide their face He was despised He was disgraced His punishment Has brought my peace And by His wounds my soul is healed Praise to the One who freed my soul Praise to the bleeding Savior Who paid it all CHORUS: Behold the Lamb The great I AM Who takes away my sin Alleluia Amen All we like sheep have gone astray We each have turned to our own way The spotless Lamb for sin atones The death of One brings many home

Snow Day 04:12
Do you remember when we were kids before the heartache, before the years Had gathered on our souls When winter winds brought their bitter sting and weathermen were BlizzardKings and the air grew wet and cold We'd greet the dawn with wide-eyed wonder And heard the radio call our number CHORUS Snow Day – We’re set free! The roadways are three feet deep There’s no way the bus would be getting through To me and you The landscape was glistening and what’s manmade has been wiped clean Covered over and made new All for me and you -- Snow Day! All the homework our teachers had planned, All our families' daily demands Had now been swept away In harmony, the neighbors' appeared in snowsuits and winter gear Together for the day And even Brian Smudz, that bully Would join with us, all warm and wooly Bridge Was this the neighborhood that we lived in? Everything was changed - so white and crystalline It was all so strange, we had to grin It was such a shame we'd have to go and make footprints... Now in all the bustle and noise, it's hard to regain those childhood joys It's hard to be in awe But now and then, we get a taste and each brilliant little glimpse of grace makes me want it all Maybe someday when this world's outworn We'll wake to find it all transformed, like a

about

Shook Foil Projects takes its name from the Gerard Manley Hopkins poem, God’s Grandeur. “The world is charged with the grandeur of God. It will flame out, like shining from shook foil;” At Covenant Fellowship Church, in Glen Mills, PA, we have experienced the grandeur of God in many ways over the years, as the grace of Jesus pours out into our lives, and flames gloriously into the world, sins are forgiven, lives are changed, and songs are sung.

These songs were written and recorded over the last several years. The version of Samuel Medley’s hymn “I Know That My Redeemer Lives”, with the added chorus by Dave Fournier, is a song that our community has enjoyed singing during Easter (and other times). The other original songs reflect on the topics of setting our eyes on Christ, living life in His strength, being thankful to God and walking in the wonder of both His Saving Grace and His Common Grace.
